The Tone:
This is a Hybrid Internship role at Curvaceous Behavior, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Curvaceous Behavior is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting wellness, entrepreneurship, and community impact. This role is vital for supporting various programs and initiatives, offering hands-on experience in community engagement, event planning, and marketing within a nonprofit setting. Interns will contribute directly to projects that foster creativity, self-care, and community connection.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Coordination: Assist with planning event logistics and manage event-day operations for various programs.
• Community Outreach: Support community outreach initiatives and foster engagement with nonprofit partners.
• Content Creation: Develop and schedule social media content, along with assisting in marketing and promotional campaigns.
• On-Site Event Support: Conduct guest check-ins, capture photos and videos, and interview participants at programming events.
• Program Administration: Coordinate volunteers and provide administrative support for organizational projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Demonstrated interest in nonprofit work, event planning, marketing, or community engagement.
• Experience: Commitment to attending a minimum of four assigned in-person classes or events during the internship term.
• Skills: Professionalism, strong communication skills, comfort working remotely and independently, access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
• Location: Reside locally in Charlotte, North Carolina, with reliable transportation.
