Sales & Marketing (Growth) Intern | Starbeam
The Tone:
This is an internship / early career role at Starbeam, located remotely with campus-based team meetings. Starbeam is an AI-powered wellness startup focused on preparing society for the disruptive social upheavals of AI, including job displacement and health impacts. This role is crucial for launching Starbeam’s free agentic AI consumer app on US college campuses and later supporting the rollout of enterprise AI services to businesses. Interns will directly contribute to the company’s growth and brand presence ahead of its full launch.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop sales materials: Create and customize compelling sales presentations and scripts using AI tools.
• Identify key contacts: Conduct web research and social media analysis to identify influencers and leaders for outreach.
• Manage prospect data: Populate and maintain CRM databases and detailed prospect profiles for effective engagement.
• Build relationships: Execute warm and cold outreach strategies to connect with student organizations, club leaders, and social media influencers.
• Generate brand content: Represent Starbeam by producing short-form video, social media posts, and written features for campus or online media.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Current college student pursuing Marketing, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. Exceptional high school students demonstrating extraordinary interest will also be considered.
• Experience: Ability to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week for at least two months.
• Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, without relying on AI for content generation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to build professional networks.
• A genuine interest in exploring sales and marketing as a potential career path.
• Bonus: Interest in specific industries such as financial, healthcare, or wellness.
