You will create a meaningful and engaging environment that supports the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Create, implement, and oversee a comprehensive activities program in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Plan: Maintain a monthly activity calendar that includes diverse group and individualized programming for residents.
• Assess: Conduct resident assessments to identify interests, needs, and abilities, adjusting programming to best suit each individual.
• Facilitate: Lead a variety of activities including social events, therapeutic programs, outings, and holiday celebrations for residents.
• Collaborate: Work with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized resident care plans and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Previous experience in activities programming in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting is required.
• Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of CMS guidelines and state regulations related to activities in long-term care environments.
• Skills: Possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to engage residents across varying cognitive and physical abilities.
• Bonus: Activity Director Certification (ADC) or eligibility is preferred.
