Fall Intern 2026 | New Jewish Narrative

The Tone:
This is an internship at New Jewish Narrative, located remotely with a preference for candidates in Washington, DC. New Jewish Narrative is an organization dedicated to fostering Israeli-Palestinian peace, influencing American policy, and advancing civil rights through advocacy and organizing work. This role is essential for supporting the organization’s diverse initiatives across programs, communications, development, and advocacy. The intern will directly contribute to meaningful work, gaining valuable professional skills and pursuing independent learning opportunities aligned with their passions.

• Mission: This intern supports the organization’s efforts in programs, communications, development, and advocacy related to Israeli-Palestinian peace and American policy.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative assistance, which includes conducting data analysis, meticulously tracking New Jewish Narrative’s media output and engagement metrics, and preparing and sending thank-you notes and donation acknowledgments to supporters.
• Educational Programming: Contribute actively to the development and execution of educational programming by creating informational one-pagers, designing compelling graphics, drafting engaging social media content, coordinating webinars, and supporting the production of PeaceCast, NJN’s podcast.
• Research and Content Development: Conduct thorough research on relevant topics to identify opportunities and help pitch and draft compelling op-eds or blog posts for publication on the organization’s website.
• Event and Advocacy Support: Assist significantly with the planning and execution of various protests and events, handling event communications, and playing a role in the organization of NJN’s flagship Fall Gala, an in-person event scheduled for mid-October.
• Database Management: Accurately maintain and update the organization’s online database records to ensure data integrity and accessibility for various operational needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A current student or recent graduate with a foundational interest in Israeli-Palestinian peace, American policy, civil rights, and advocacy/organizing work.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in civil rights and advocacy/organizing work.
• Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, strong organizational abilities, effective time-management, and the capacity to quickly grasp new technical and administrative skills.
• Bonus: Current junior or senior university student.
