Sales & Marketing (Growth) Intern | Starbeam

The Tone:
This is an internship at Starbeam, located remotely with required in-person meetings with your campus team. Starbeam is an AI-powered wellness startup preparing society for the disruptive social upheavals that AI will soon unleash. The company is currently in stealth mode but plans to be a dominant AI company upon its launch in Fall 2026. This role matters because you will directly contribute to launching a free agentic AI consumer app on US college campuses and later supporting the rollout of enterprise AI services to businesses.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time (approx. 5 hours per week, flexible)
• Location: Remote, meeting in person with your campus team
• Team: National network of Starbeam interns, forming small campus GTM teams at larger schools
• Mission: Launch Starbeam’s free agentic AI consumer app on US college campuses and support the rollout of enterprise AI services.
• Tech Stack: AI tools, HubSpot sales and marketing

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales & Marketing Content Creation: Create and customize sales presentations and scripts utilizing AI tools.
• Outreach & Relationship Building: Utilize warm and cold outreach strategies to build and maintain relationships with student organizations, club leaders, and social media influencers.
• Research & CRM Management: Identify influencers and leaders through web research and social media, then populate and manage CRM databases and prospect profiles.
• Brand Representation & Content: Represent Starbeam through content creation, including short-form video, social media posts, and written features in campus media.
• Search Optimization: Write articles and online content about Starbeam to ensure brand visibility in searches for AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
• Professional Development: Take free online courses to become certified in AI tools and HubSpot sales and marketing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A current college student, Entry-Level. Majoring in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related fields. Exemptions are made for high school students who demonstrate extraordinary interest.
• Experience: Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week for at least a 2-month period.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills without relying on AI, strong interpersonal skills with a love for making new friends and growing a professional network, and an interest in sales and marketing as a possible career. Must be willing to sign a nondisclosure agreement (NDA).
