The Tone:
This is an Escrow Assistant position, typically found in a branch/office setting, supporting ForFutures Financial, Planning, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services LLC, and its connection to First American’s Direct division. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive support to the escrow department, assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to residential real estate purchases, refinances, and equity loans. The TL;DR
• Role: Escrow Assistant
• Location: In-person, branch/office setting
• Pay: $20.31–$27.09 hourly
• Team: Supports an escrow department team or partners with an escrow officer.
• Mission: To provide essential administrative and customer service support for residential real estate escrow closings.
• Tech Stack: MS Office suite, company and/or client operating systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Perform a wide range of administrative duties to gather information and assist in the overall escrow process.
• Document Preparation: Open orders, input closing statement information, and prepare various documents required for residential real estate closings.
• Transaction Management: Handle the complete disbursement and follow-up procedures for all escrow transactions.
• Client Communication: Communicate specific requirements and other pertinent information directly to clients involved in the escrow process.
• Agreement Interpretation: Interpret various agreements as they relate to closing procedures and prepare all necessary documents required for transactions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School diploma or equivalent, with core domain knowledge of the escrow process.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an escrow-related field.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong detail orientation, and proficiency in MS Office suite and relevant operating systems.
