Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) | U.S. Bank

• Mission: Build trust with clients, assess their banking needs, and provide tailored deposit and loan product recommendations.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage Clients: Build and foster relationships through proactive outreach, follow-up, and learning about financial needs and banking preferences.
• Provide Counsel: Identify and recommend deposit and loan products and services, including digital options, that meet clients’ unique goals.
• Process Accounts: Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
• Educate on Digital: Proactively educate and demonstrate emerging and self-service digital products and services to clients.
• Collaborate Internally: Develop partnerships with branch team members and partners to ensure clients receive comprehensive service.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent, with core knowledge of retail banking operations and customer service.
• Experience: Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Skills: Proven ability to build and foster relationships, effective client engagement and communication, thorough knowledge of bank products and policies, and excellent customer service skills. Must also be able to comply with NMLS registration requirements.
• Bonus: Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies, and experience in the financial services industry.
