The Tone:

The Assistant Director of Nursing will play a vital leadership role in the nursing department, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with regulatory guidelines. This position contributes significantly to the overall effectiveness and quality of care provided within the facility.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, Lecanto, FL
• Mission: This person leads and manages the nursing department, providing education, mentorship, and ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Education & Development: Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management, clinicians, and other team members.
• Goal Achievement: Actively participate in the development and achievement of nursing department goals and objectives, including staff development functions and educational programming.
• Compliance Monitoring: Assist in the implementation of and monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice consistent with corporate and external regulatory guidelines.
• Staffing & Recruitment: Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff to deliver efficient resident care in accordance with the established staffing plan and state-mandated staffing requirements.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with various department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of a Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university; requires a minimum of one (1) year of management experience.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of nursing experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population.
• Skills: Current active state RN license, current CPR certification, and knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility function.
