The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Cornerstone Building Brands, located in Peachtree City, GA. The company is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products, serving residential and commercial customers across North America. This supervisor position is vital for overseeing daily manufacturing operations in the windows and doors unit, ensuring consistent safety, quality, and production goals are met through effective team leadership. This role directly supports employee development and drives accountability on the production floor.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time (6am-4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with OT on Saturdays as needed)
• Location: In-person, Peachtree City, GA
• Pay: $75000–$85000 yearly
• Team: Reports directly to the Production Manager, overseeing hourly production team members.
• Mission: Leads daily manufacturing operations to consistently meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, a work management system

What You’ll Actually Do
• Safety: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture among all team members.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and support hourly production team members during assigned shifts, providing coaching and feedback.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor production performance, adjusting staffing or workflow as needed to meet targets.
• Quality Assurance: Address and problem-solve for quality issues to maintain product standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance safety, and increase efficiency on the production floor.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Leadership career level; high school diploma or equivalent is required, with core domain knowledge in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience: 1-3 years of progressively responsible supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Skills: Proficient in 5S principles; intermediate Microsoft Office skills; working knowledge of a work management system.
• Bonus: Previous experience in a distribution or production operation with a demonstrated ability to acquire and apply continuous improvement, lean, and manufacturing system principles.
