Cassia is a nonprofit, mission-driven senior care organization with over 200 years of experience, dedicated to fostering fullness of life for older adults by providing compassionate, high-quality care. This Executive Director position is a key leadership opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance within a welcoming senior care community that values collaboration and growth.

• Mission: This person is responsible for delivering quality and compassionate care to residents, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with housing and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Provide exceptional leadership to the community’s team, fostering positive engagement among staff, residents, families, and guests.
• Staff Management: Oversee all aspects of staff development, including hiring practices, in-service training sessions, and performance feedback, to promote a strong and collaborative teamwork environment.
• Occupancy Growth: Support the initiatives of the Sales and Marketing Director to attract potential residents, aiming to meet or exceed occupancy and service-offerings expectations.
• Community Relations: Maintain ongoing liaison relationships with local communities, businesses, and educational institutions to enhance the reputation and presence of Meadowview of Clive.
• Regulatory Compliance & Strategy: Ensure strict adherence to state and federal regulations, actively managing compliance, and participate in the development of strategic long-range plans for both the community and the broader organization.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Gerontology, Business Administration, or another related field; this is an executive leadership role overseeing senior living operations.
• Experience: While considered an entry-level opportunity, 0-3 years of experience in senior housing, assisted living, or long-term care administration is preferred, with previous experience in business management, especially property management, also preferred.
• Skills: Hold an active Assisted Living Director (LALD) or Health Service Executive (HSE) license with BELTSS; demonstrate a current understanding of Assisted Living rules and regulations; exhibit positive interpersonal, communication, and financial management skills; possess outstanding time management, organizational, and computer skills.
• Bonus: Demonstrated success in creating a flourishing senior healthcare community and a proven ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
