Project Manager – Project Management Office (PMO) | Elliott Davis

The Tone:

This Project Manager position is integral to the Digital Consulting Services team, focusing on delivering high-impact, enterprise-level technology transformation projects for clients. The role goes beyond traditional coordination, emphasizing white-glove project management services, strategic guidance, and delivery leadership to ensure successful business outcomes and a high-touch client experience.

• Team: Digital Consulting Services team, working alongside the project leader.
• Mission: To deliver high-impact, enterprise-level programs and projects, ensuring successful business outcomes for clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Enterprise Project Planning & Governance: Lead the development and execution of integrated, enterprise-level project plans, establishing comprehensive governance structures including steering committees and decision-making frameworks. This includes ensuring alignment on scope, objectives, success metrics, and overall business outcomes for client engagements.
• Progress Monitoring & Accountability: Deliver comprehensive executive-level reporting that clearly communicates progress, risks, financials, and dependencies. This includes driving accountability across all stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, and proactively identifying and resolving risks and issues before they can impact project outcomes.
• Milestone & Delivery Management: Manage key milestones, critical deliverables, and complex cross-functional dependencies across various workstreams. The goal is to ensure projects remain on schedule, within defined scope, and are consistently aligned to strategic client goals, proactively removing obstacles to maintain forward momentum.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the central point of coordination across client leadership, diverse business teams, and external vendors. This involves facilitating clear communication and alignment between technical and functional stakeholders, as well as proactively conducting meetings, workshops, and decision forums to drive execution and clarity.
• Project Closeout & Quality Assurance: Lead structured project closeout processes, ensuring all deliverables are thoroughly completed and formally accepted by clients. This includes verifying quality standards and alignment with stated business objectives, along with documenting lessons learned to support continuous improvement efforts for future projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Managing complex, enterprise-level technology projects.
• Skills: Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, Excellent communication and presentation abilities, Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies, Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; Experience in technology transformation project management, consulting, or PMO environments preferred.
