Intern, Marketing | KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc.
The Tone:
This is an internship at Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc., located in Fairfield, NJ. Kyocera is an organization that provides total document solutions, including MFPs, printers, business applications, and consultative services designed to optimize document workflow for customers. This role is crucial for ensuring the company’s corporate brand assets are relevant, effective, and consistently applied by conducting a comprehensive audit and managing content.
The TL;DR

• Mission: This intern will streamline and optimize the company’s corporate content ecosystem, ensuring brand assets are relevant and effective.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Content: Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing corporate content, such as presentations, collateral, and sales materials, to identify outdated, duplicative, or underutilized assets.
• Support Activation: Gather structured feedback from internal teams to support the continued activation and adoption of core corporate presentations already in market, identifying usability challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Develop New Assets: Assist in the development and coordination of new corporate assets, including short and long company profile brochures and a corporate video, in partnership with internal and external teams.
• Document Guidelines: Help create and maintain clear documentation and usage guidelines for all corporate assets, establishing version control practices to ensure teams use the most current materials.
• Track & Enable: Track asset usage and adoption across teams using simple methods, and support the creation of lightweight training and enablement materials such as quick-start guides and internal announcements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an interest in process and systems; ability to manage multiple tasks within a defined scope.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Familiarity with SharePoint as a documentation tool; experience creating or maintaining documentation, playbooks, or internal guides; basic understanding or skills in graphic design with an eye for layout, typography, and visual consistency; interest in branding, communications, and content creation and operations.
