The Tone:
This is a remote, unpaid internship or volunteer leadership position at Project EnviroEd, a youth-led nonprofit supported by Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful. Project EnviroEd is dedicated to fostering environmental advocacy, education, and youth-led change globally. The organization aims to empower high school and college students from around the world to take active roles in addressing environmental issues. These opportunities offer students practical, hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, digital outreach, and environmental advocacy, directly contributing to meaningful environmental awareness campaigns and local community impact.

• Mission: This person will solve problems related to environmental advocacy, education, and youth-led change by creating engaging digital content, developing and leading awareness campaigns, and establishing local chapters to drive community impact and foster student leadership.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Social Media Creation: Create and design engaging environmental content, including posts, graphics, videos, and educational campaigns, to significantly strengthen Project EnviroEd’s digital presence and outreach.
• Campaign Leadership: Develop and lead comprehensive environmental awareness campaigns, coordinating all aspects of outreach, partnerships, and educational initiatives from conception to execution.
• Team Mobilization: Recruit and organize volunteers, student environmental advocates, and local teams to successfully execute campaign activities and local projects.
• Community Engagement: Establish a Project EnviroEd chapter at your school or in your community, representing the organization while organizing local projects, workshops, and service events to create measurable community impact.
• Impact Measurement: Track campaign goals, participation metrics, and overall community impact to evaluate effectiveness and report on contributions to environmental advocacy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level high school or college student from around the world, demonstrating a genuine interest in environmental issues or community service.
• Experience: No previous nonprofit experience is required; candidates must be prepared to take initiative and contribute consistently to remote team efforts.
• Skills: Dependability, creativity, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate productively with other student leaders in a remote team environment.
