What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement and monitor clinical policies: Responsible for establishing, implementing, and continuously monitoring current policies and procedures for Clinical Services across assigned communities. This ensures consistent application of Saber Healthcare Group’s standards for patient care and operational efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance: Oversee and guarantee that all assigned communities consistently meet and exceed compliance requirements set by all state, federal, and governmental agencies, maintaining high standards of clinical operation.
• Conduct and support facility surveys: Perform regular compliance surveys at assigned communities, and actively participate in or be present for state and federal survey activities, providing necessary support and expertise to navigate regulatory inspections effectively.
• Provide staff training and orientation: Deliver comprehensive in-service training and orientation programs to facility staff. These programs cover critical areas such as the survey process, effective risk management strategies, community compliance protocols, and continuous performance improvement initiatives.
• Address resident complaints and develop corrective actions: Systematically review and investigate resident complaints as directed, collaborating closely with the facility Administrator and Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective Plans of Corrective Action when required, ensuring resident well-being and satisfaction.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license. Requires prior leadership experience at a Director of Nursing (DON) or Regional Nurse level within a clinical healthcare setting.
• Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of direct experience serving as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Regional Nurse. This role requires extensive willingness and ability to travel to facilities located in multiple states based on new acquisition locations.
• Skills: Demonstrated clinical expertise, strong ability to monitor and ensure regulatory compliance, proficiency in developing and delivering staff training and orientation programs, risk management oversight, and proven capabilities in developing and implementing effective corrective action plans.
