This entry-level position is vital for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting key accounting processes, and contributing to overall compliance, ensuring the smooth financial operations of a fast-growing company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Close: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Accounts Receivable: Process all accounts receivable activities such as invoicing, billing, collections, cash application, and customer account reconciliations.
• Financial Reconciliations: Prepare comprehensive reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Revenue Compliance: Support deferred revenue tracking and revenue recognition processes to ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, management reports, and various ad hoc analyses for internal stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, for an entry-level position.
• Experience: No specific years required; relevant internships or work experience are a plus, especially with accounting, tax, financial analysis, or reconciliations in a software company.
• Skills: Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and GAAP concepts, familiarity with journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and revenue recognition concepts.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Accounting, Professional Accountancy, Taxation, or a related field is preferred.
