Brand Marketing & Events, Intern – NYC | Paul Smith

This role is crucial for supporting the North America Marketing & PR team, offering hands-on experience across brand marketing, experiential events, retail activations, and seasonal campaign execution, helping to bring the brand to life through memorable customer experiences and strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign & Research: Assist the North America Marketing & PR team with daily marketing initiatives, including seasonal campaign development, execution, and performance reporting, while also researching competitive trends and participating in brainstorming sessions.
• Integrated Marketing: Support the strategic planning and execution of integrated brand campaigns across retail, wholesale, and digital marketing channels.
• Event Management: Coordinate the planning, execution, and logistical arrangements for various Paul Smith events, such as VIP loyalty events, cocktail receptions, private dinners, retail store activations, brand partnerships, and wholesale marketing events.
• Operational Support: Manage all logistical aspects for marketing and event assets, including coordinating shipping, messenger services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Administrative & Inventory: Provide administrative and project support for marketing initiatives and assist in maintaining local marketing inventory, event supplies, promotional materials, and storage organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively enrolled in an accredited university program, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field. Must be eligible for school credit.
• Experience: Previous internship or relevant work experience in marketing, fashion, retail, events, or communications is preferred. The role requires availability 2-3 days a week in the office.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Possesses a strong interest in luxury fashion, brand storytelling, experiential marketing, and client engagement. Must be a self-starter with good planning and organizational skills, enthusiastic, and capable of being an ambassador for the Paul Smith brand.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Analytics, along with experience in presentation design and reporting.
