QA Automation Engineer Intern | Marketeq Talent
The Tone:
This is an unpaid internship at Marketeq Talent, located 100% remotely within the USA. Marketeq is an enterprise IT consulting firm focused on delivering technology solutions to businesses of various sizes. This role is essential for ensuring the functionality and performance of Marketeq’s enterprise IT consulting website and online portals. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in quality assurance and contribute directly to maintaining the quality standards of the company’s digital products.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute: Conduct manual and automated tests to verify the functionality and performance of Marketeq’s website and online portals.
• Develop: Create, update, and maintain detailed test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Report: Systematically identify, document, and report bugs and issues utilizing Marketeq’s bug tracking system.
• Collaborate: Work closely with developers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Verify: Perform regression testing to confirm that existing functionalities remain unaffected by new feature developments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with QA methodologies and tools. No previous experience in software testing is strictly required.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Bonus: Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools. Previous experience in software testing or a related field.
