What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze job seeker behavior, job data, and product performance to identify key trends.
• Evaluate: Define metrics and design experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of product changes.
• Develop: Build analytical models, create dashboards, and establish reporting workflows for data insights.
• Improve: Investigate opportunities to enhance recommendations, search relevance, and user engagement within the product.
• Communicate: Present findings clearly and make actionable recommendations to improve the user experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience with Python and SQL. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Skills: Understanding of statistics, experimentation, and data analysis. Ability to translate ambiguous questions into structured analysis. Strong written communication.
• Bonus: Experience with machine learning, NLP, recommendation systems, or experimentation. Familiarity with pandas, scikit-learn, notebooks, or data visualization tools. Experience working with large or messy datasets. Interest in responsible use of data and AI in career products. Previous research, internship, or analytics project experience.
