Front Desk Coordinator | Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy

This is a full-time role at Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy, located in Mystic, CT. The company is a comprehensive multidisciplinary provider of Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage, and Acupuncture services. This role is essential for creating an inviting experience for all patients and efficiently managing clinic operations. What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Reception: Greet patients and visitors with an upbeat attitude, manage inquiries, and efficiently check in patients while ensuring high-level customer service.
• Scheduling & Flow: Optimize appointment schedules to maximize provider availability and treatment room utilization, ensuring on-time patient flow.
• Therapy Assistance: Support patients directly during therapy sessions by applying comfort measures, guiding through prescribed routines, and educating on equipment use.
• Data & Records Management: Accurately enter patient information into the EMR system, manage insurance details, and obtain necessary prescriptions and Plans of Care.
• Clinic Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment through light cleaning duties, preparing treatment rooms, and managing supply inventory.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: One year of experience in a customer service-oriented role is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Accurate record-keeping and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: One (1) year of medical office experience preferred; Familiarity in EMR systems a plus; Ability to observe, evaluate, and record patient conditions.
