2027 Intern – Forensic & Litigation Consulting | FTI Consulting

The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at FTI Consulting, available in multiple locations across the US, including Washington DC. FTI Consulting is a global expert firm that guides organizations through crisis and transformation, working with top multinational corporations, law firms, banks, and private equity firms. This role is crucial as interns become an integral part of project teams, contributing to solutions for complex client challenges and serving as a key pathway to future full-time consultant positions within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Become a member of a project team to deliver impact that makes a difference for clients.
• Work closely with FTI Consulting professionals and senior leaders to meet client needs.
• Educate yourself on the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment to prepare for the role.
• Select your preferred practice area and location after submitting your application based on your interests.
• Gain valuable experience that serves as a key pathway to future entry-level consultant positions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor’s degree or completing a fifth-year master’s program. Expected graduation date must be between December 2027 and September 2028.
• Experience: Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program, which runs between late May 2027 and August 2027. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis as a full-time employee; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
• Skills: Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA. Demonstrate an innovative, collaborative, and highly motivated approach, alongside an entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting office(s) as required.
