Finance and Controlling Associate | BMW Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at BMW Group, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for UAE Nationals. BMW Group is a leading global automotive company, and this role is part of an acceleration programme designed to build a strong foundation for future leadership in finance. The position is crucial for steering financial performance, supporting management reporting, and contributing to data-driven business decisions for the Middle East Representative Office.

• Mission: To develop a strong foundation in financial steering, business planning, and reporting through a rotational programme, enabling the individual to steer financial performance and support data-driven business decisions at BMW Middle East.
• Tech Stack: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, financial systems, AI tools, data visualization tools, automation tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Programme Participation: Engage in a four-assignment rotational journey, including two assignments at the BMW Middle East Office covering Controlling and Sales Planning, and two short-term assignments at BMW Group Headquarters in Munich and another international market.
• Financial Contribution: Contribute fresh ideas and support initiatives related to financial steering, performance analysis, digitalization, and process improvement within the Finance and Controlling Team.
• Project Management & Analysis: Apply a structured approach to projects by coordinating with stakeholders, understanding business requirements, and translating financial data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Operational Support: Support the timely and high-quality implementation of Finance and Controlling activities in collaboration with other functions and central departments.
• Process Improvement: Take part in transformation and continuous improvement projects that strengthen efficiency, transparency, and decision-making within the business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• Experience: 6 months to 3 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Planning, or Consulting, along with at least 4 months of international exposure through studies, internships, work experience, or exchange programmes.
• Skills: Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret financial data, strong communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills, a project management mindset, and fluent English and Arabic communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Bonus: Experience with financial systems, AI tools, data visualization tools, or automation tools is an advantage; readiness and motivation for an international career.
