The Tone:
This is a temporary, 10-week virtual internship at Wall Street Oasis, accessible remotely across major global regions including the US, UK, Europe, APAC, and MENA. What You’ll Actually Do
• Training: Actively participate in an intensive, two-week in-house virtual training program meticulously designed and led by experienced industry professionals, which will build a strong foundational understanding in the core skills essential for Private Equity and growth investing.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and refine expertise in various critical financial modeling techniques, including comprehensive 3-Statement Financial Modeling, advanced DCF Valuation, in-depth Trading Comparables analysis, precise Transaction Comparables analysis, and the foundational aspects of LBO Basics, encompassing debt structures, returns analysis, and key IRR drivers.
• Research & Analysis: Master the methodologies for conducting thorough market and industry research, coupled with the development of sophisticated investment memo writing skills, applying industry best practices for effective deal work and documentation.
• Tool Utilization: Gain exclusive access to Capital IQ Pro, complete its associated Academy training, and earn a certificate upon successful completion, alongside mastering Excel and PowerPoint to apply best practices for all aspects of deal-related work and presentations.
• Placement & Exposure: Secure highly sought-after placement opportunities with various buy-side entities, which typically include Lower Middle Market (LMM) PE firms, Search Funds, Independent Sponsors, HoldCo / Operator-led acquisition platforms, Small Growth Equity firms, or Family Offices that directly invest in private companies, thereby offering the closest real-world exposure to critical buy-side deal work and investment decision-making processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Ideal candidates are high-performing freshmen and sophomores, though not exclusively limited to these academic levels, who are eager to embark on a career in private equity.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is required, as this unpaid internship is designed to provide practical experience and significantly boost a student’s resume.
• Skills: Demonstrated qualities of being highly motivated, a quick learner, and committed to excelling within a fast-paced environment, coupled with an eagerness to master private equity and growth investing skill sets.
