The Tone:
This is an internship at Citi, located in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact within the Markets team, playing a valuable part in actively participating in the research, trading, and marketing of securities. • Mission: This person will contribute to providing financing solutions and offering securities products and services to Citi’s institutional client base.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Actively engage in the research, trading, and marketing of securities to an institutional client base.
• Rotate: Gain a well-rounded experience by rotating across various products and functions within Markets over 10 weeks.
• Learn: Attend a week-long comprehensive training program taught by industry professionals and skilled external consultants.
• Network: Participate in weekly senior speaker events and various networking sessions with junior and senior level professionals.
• Collaborate: Work with peers on group projects and pitch trade ideas, utilizing diverse skill sets and knowledge gained.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with an anticipated graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028, and a strong interest in Markets.
• Experience: Maintain a GPA of 3.3 or above, and be excited to work in the New York office.
• Skills: Creative in solving problems, intellectually curious, hard-working, diligent, enthusiastic, quick-thinking, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, confident, comfortable with clients, articulate in oral and written communication, focused on achieving group and client objectives, and detail-oriented.
• Bonus: Possess a global perspective on the markets and value diversity, coming from a variety of universities.
