FP&A Intern | Allvue Systems
The Tone:
This is an in-person internship at Allvue Systems. Allvue Systems is a leading provider of software solutions for the Private Capital and Credit markets, helping clients eliminate the boundaries between systems, information, and people. As a Vista Equity Partners-backed SaaS company, Allvue powers the world’s leading private equity, credit, and fund administration firms. This role is crucial as it places an intern inside the FP&A team at a critical moment, directly contributing to a comprehensive pricing review and the pricing design for Allvue’s new AI product line, while offering an inside look into the financial rhythms of a scaled B2B SaaS business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Close Support: Support the monthly financial close cycle, including variance analysis, account reconciliations, and close checklist deliverables.
• SaaS Metrics Reporting: Build hands-on fluency in SaaS metrics reporting, covering ARR, bookings, GRR, NRR, and monthly flash reporting.
• Pricing Strategy Contribution: Contribute to a comprehensive pricing review across Allvue’s product lines and help design pricing frameworks for the emerging AI product line, exploring various models.
• Executive Reporting: Support development of board-ready financial schedules and slides prepared for executives and the Board of Directors.
• AI Application & Presentation: Apply AI tools to accelerate financial analysis and data synthesis, culminating in a capstone presentation of your AI pricing model and key findings to FP&A leadership.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with foundational knowledge of financial statements and reporting.
• Experience: Proficiency in Excel is required; experience with financial modeling or data analysis tools is a plus.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; clear communication to synthesize data into concise, well-organized narratives; self-starter who can own deliverables independently while collaborating effectively.
• Bonus: Interest in SaaS business models, pricing strategy, or corporate finance as a career path; intellectual curiosity about AI tools and their application in financial analysis (prior experience not required).
