The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at JPMorganChase, located in New York, NY. In this role, you will support industry and company-specific analysis, develop financial models, and contribute to written research reports for the Markets Equity Research team. • Mission: Support the Markets Equity Research team by conducting industry and company-specific analysis, building financial models, and contributing to research reports.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Industry Analysis: Conduct industry analysis and provide company-specific coverage for the sector team.
• Core Research: Perform core research on the industry and its companies.
• Financial Modeling: Model financials and forecasts.
• Report Writing: Write First Call notes, company updates, new reports, and thematic pieces.
• Communication: Communicate findings over the Hoot, at the Morning Meeting, and with clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in an undergraduate program from a local (New York City area) college/university, with an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later, but no later than May 2029. Must have an interest in financial markets and comfort with numbers and financial statements, maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• Experience: Proven analytical skills and experience with quantitative and data analysis. Authorization to work in the U.S. and enrollment in a degree conferring program at a U.S. university are required.
• Skills: Exceptional writing skills, genuine interest in financial markets and economic data and trends, ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment, and strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
