Intern, BMW FS Strategic Planning & Steering | BMW Group

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at BMW Financial Services NA, LLC, located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. BMW Financial Services, established in 1993, supports the sales and marketing of BMW products, and has expanded beyond traditional captive finance to offer a broad variety of tailored products for BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce customers. This role is crucial for supporting strategic business development within the SF2 Region and contributing to significant corporate strategy initiatives.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time (20-29 hours/week), Fall 2026 (September 7, 2026 – December 11, 2026)
• Location: Hybrid, Woodcliff Lake, NJ
• Pay: $25–$32 hourly
• Team: Strategic Planning & Steering, supporting the Strategy and Regional Steering Manager and CEO
• Mission: Support strategic business development and corporate strategy initiatives within the SF2 Region.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support the Strategy and Regional Steering Manager and CEO in strategic business development within the SF2 Region.
• Manage executive requests, including preparing committee meeting collateral and content proposals.
• Work on corporate strategy initiatives and contribute to cross-functional strategy projects as needed.
• Prepare and distribute regular and ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Analyze and identify market and industry trends.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level, currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Finance or Business Analytics at an accredited college or university. Must have completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required. Must be able to work part-time (20-29 hours/week).
• Skills: Business fluent English, analytical capabilities, organizational and preparation skills.
• Bonus: Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only).
