What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statement Support: Prepare and review basic financial statements.
• Accounting Entries: Assist with recording journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Record Management: Update financial records using accounting software.
• Financial Documentation: Organize financial documentation.
• Expense Analysis: Assist in simple budget or expense analyses.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members on data collection, reporting, and process improvements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational finance knowledge and the ability to interpret financial statements.
• Experience: Familiarity with accounting software, basic accounting processes, or relevant coursework.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills for evaluating data and identifying trends; clear and professional written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and organization.
• Bonus: Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree program; proficiency in spreadsheets and productivity tools; an interest in the education or learning technology space.
