2026 Summer Associate, Treasury & Business Management | Apollo Global Management, Inc.
The Tone:
This is a 10-week Summer Associate position at Apollo Global Management, Inc., a high-growth global alternative asset manager committed to championing opportunity. This role within the Apollo Insurance Solutions Group is crucial for supporting the asset management business by portfolio managing assets across its insurance operations and partnering with various internal functions. The successful candidate will contribute to developing world-class investment professionals, optimizing financial security for clients, and achieving positive outcomes for clients, businesses, and communities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Optimize portfolio performance: Comprehend return objectives and risk tolerance for managed accounts, supporting timely asset allocation and portfolio construction to optimize investments based on ALM, KRD, liquidity, investment guideline constraints, and insurance-related considerations.
• Manage operational liquidity: Forecast near-term liquidity needs and actively participate in day-to-day liquidity management for the insurance business.
• Enhance data reporting: Generate weekly asset cashflow and risk reports, collaborating with business partners to identify and resolve reporting gaps and improve data accuracy.
• Contribute to financial forecasting and strategy: Provide support for Financial Planning & Analysis income and capital forecasting, and construct strategic asset allocations essential for pricing new insurance liabilities and driving growth in Assets Under Management (AUM).
• Drive process and infrastructure improvements: Partner with Enterprise Data to enhance infrastructure and upgrade processes, and work on projects to update portfolio management processes, gaining real-world experience with Apollo’s investment strategy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing an MBA or Master’s degree (Class of 2027) in Engineering, Math, Science, Finance, or Economics, with a demonstrated interest in portfolio management, investing, and process design.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a portfolio management, risk, engineering, or quantitative role.
• Skills: Strong technical skillset including Excel, Python, SQL, problem-solving skills, and an inquisitive nature.
• Bonus: Familiarity with fixed income concepts preferred; experience with either structured products or mortgages would be a plus.
