Wealth Management Intern | Legacy Advisors
The Tone:
This is an internship at Legacy Advisors, located in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Legacy Advisors is a premier, well-established, and growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm specializing in investment and financial planning for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and business owners. This role is crucial as it supports daily work across multiple departments, providing the intern with broad exposure to how various firm functions connect. The intern will gain hands-on experience in financial markets, investment products, and client services, helping the firm ensure clients’ business and personal financial affairs are always in order.

• Tech Stack: Word, Excel, Outlook, Bloomberg, performance reporting software
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Reporting: Assist with generating client performance reports and monitoring trade and cash activity.
• Investment Data: Prepare periodic reports such as transactions, cash flow, and portfolio drift, identifying investment implications.
• Portfolio Management: Support Portfolio Managers with market research, compile manager meeting notes, and aid in client portfolio administration.
• Cross-Departmental Projects: Contribute to firm-wide initiatives across various teams, including Wealth Planning, Client Service, and Operations.
• Daily Operations: Provide broad support for daily work across the firm, adapting to evolving projects and priorities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Possess familiarity with various investment types, including Mutual Funds, Stocks & Bonds, and Alternative investments (Hedge Funds & Private Equity).
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Bonus: Prior experience with Bloomberg terminal and performance reporting software.
