Corporate Development Analyst | Electric Hydrogen

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Electric Hydrogen, primarily located in New York, NY, with periodic travel to Boston and San Jose. Electric Hydrogen designs and manufactures electrolytic hydrogen systems to create green hydrogen by splitting water, aiming to decarbonize heavy industry. This role is crucial for supporting the company’s capital raising, strategic transactions, and long-term planning initiatives on its path to rapid industrial-scale decarbonization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Report on financial performance to internal and external stakeholders by analyzing financial information.
• Drive: Ensure the accuracy of financial projections through collaboration with cross-functional teams including Strategic Finance, Sales, and Project Development.
• Prepare: Create detailed presentations, analyses, and memoranda for internal and external audiences related to capital raises, strategic transactions, and key business initiatives.
• Evaluate: Support the assessment of potential mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities across various sectors.
• Assist: Coordinate internal and external stakeholders during due diligence and transaction execution activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Science, Business, Economics, or a related field; this is an early-career position.
• Experience: 1–3 years of full-time experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, business operations, startups, or a related field.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and financial analysis; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Experience supporting capital raising activities, strategic transactions, or corporate development initiatives; exposure to energy, climate technology, manufacturing, infrastructure, or industrial sectors; experience building and maintaining complex financial models.
