The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Blackhawk Network, located in Coppell, TX or Pleasanton, CA. Blackhawk Network, through its single global platform, enables businesses to leverage the world’s largest network of branded payment solutions. The company helps clients grow revenue, increase loyalty, motivate teams, and disburse funds by issuing and distributing gift cards, egifts, and corporate rewards. This Financial Analyst I role is a two-year rotational program designed for recent graduates, offering hands-on experience to build a foundation in corporate finance and support strategic planning and business decisions.

• Mission: Build a strong foundation in core corporate finance areas through a rotational program, supporting strategic planning and business decisions.
• Tech Stack: Oracle, Power BI, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence to support strategic planning.
• Model: Build and maintain financial models to project company performance and inform leadership decisions.
• Report: Partner with business and Accounting teams to gather data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
• Monitor: Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to surface trends, risks, and opportunities for the business.
• Support: Support the annual budget and ongoing forecast cycles to keep the business on track to its financial targets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, for recent graduates seeking an entry-level role.
• Experience: Experience in financial analysis or related coursework.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel, strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and strong written and verbal communication.
