Fall/Spring Finance Internship | Bally’s Corporation

The Tone:
This is a part-time and full-time internship at Bally’s Corporation. Bally’s creates engaging entertainment experiences across Casinos & Resorts, Interactive, and Corporate sectors. This role is crucial for supporting the Finance department, allowing interns to make a direct impact on critical projects within External Reporting, Technical Accounting, SOX & Accounting Governance, FP&A, and Shared Services teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare or assist with the creation of financial reports for various stakeholders.
• Data Management: Enter and meticulously organize financial data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Provide support for ongoing budgeting and forecasting activities within the finance department.
• Accounts Payable: Assist with the processing of invoices and other accounts payable functions.
• Reconciliation & Journal Entries: Help with bank reconciliations and the preparation of journal entries.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for individuals currently enrolled in an accredited university, actively obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience or years are required for this internship role.
• Skills: Capability to assist with financial reporting, proficiency in organizing financial data, and aptitude for building or updating spreadsheets and financial models.
• Skills: Ability to conduct research and prepare presentation materials for various finance projects.
