Deal Origination Analyst — Broker & Owner Sourcing | Everis

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Everis, located remotely in the United States or Canada. Everis is an AI-native business group founded by successful technology founders, focused on acquiring, improving, and operating small internet businesses and apps for the long term. This early-career analyst position is crucial for building the pipeline of potential acquisitions, directly contributing to the company’s growth strategy by sourcing and qualifying promising opportunities. You will take ownership quickly and grow into broader acquisition responsibilities.

The TL;DR

• Pay: US$70,000–$85,000 yearly (plus an annual performance bonus of up to US$15,000)
• Team: Supports the acquisition team by sourcing and qualifying deals.
• Mission: Build a high-quality deal flow pipeline by researching markets, sourcing businesses, and qualifying opportunities for the acquisition team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Broker and intermediary relationships: Find and build relationships with relevant brokers, advisers, and marketplaces to screen opportunities.
• Owner sourcing and outreach: Build targeted lists of businesses and owners, then conduct thoughtful outreach to understand their goals.
• Research and qualification: Gather high-level financial and commercial information to assess business fit and prepare opportunity briefs.
• Pipeline ownership and improvement: Maintain the acquisition CRM, track funnel progression, and use evidence and AI to enhance sourcing methods.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Career professional who is smart, curious, and able to understand unfamiliar businesses quickly.
• Experience: Zero to three years of professional experience; relevant sourcing, sales, research, brokerage, consulting, or entrepreneurial experience is useful but not required.
• Skills: Excellent spoken and written communication, comfort making cold calls and outbound messages, highly organized and reliable, strong research judgment, basic financial and commercial literacy (or ability to learn quickly), and high integrity with confidential information.
• Bonus: Motivated, proactive, resilient, and able to work without constant supervision.
