Financial Planning and Analysis – Analyst | Sofidel S.p.A.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Sofidel S.p.A., supporting operations across North America. This FP&A Analyst role is crucial for driving operational efficiency and cost optimization, providing essential financial guidance, and supporting informed decision-making to enhance the company’s performance across its production sites.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Partnership: Partner with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
• Investment Support: Support capital investment decisions through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluations for site leadership.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze site-level financial performance, including variance to budget and forecast, and present actionable insights to leadership.
• Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare monthly performance reports for senior leadership, translating data into clear business insights, and maintain financial models to support forecasting and long-term planning.
• Process Improvement: Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, recommending practical, data-driven solutions to improve cost visibility and operational accountability across sites.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, preparing for an FP&A role focused on operational finance within a manufacturing context.
• Experience: Prior experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or operational finance.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, and the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both finance and operations teams.
• Bonus: Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
