What You’ll Actually Do
• Calculate: Calculate, validate, and accurately process rebate and deviated billing claims in a timely manner.
• Analyze: Analyze customer-provided velocity data to support the validation of claims and contribute to reporting efforts.
• Reconcile: Perform reconciliations and assist in resolving complex data or compliance discrepancies that arise.
• Partner: Partner closely with Sales and Customer teams to interpret contract terms and ensure accurate rebate execution.
• Improve: Develop ownership of core trade claims processes and actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement within these operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field, or 1 to 5 years of relevant professional experience. This includes an understanding of general accounting concepts and financial data.
• Experience: Strong Excel proficiency, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data imports.
• Skills: Strong communication skills for clear interaction, organizational abilities to manage tasks effectively, and relationship-building skills to collaborate across teams; capable of analyzing sales contracts and interpreting complex financial information.
• Bonus: Previous experience in trade claims, rebates, or similar financial operations; familiarity with SAP, Blacksmith Applications, or Tibersoft; or a background in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
