What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead complex financial modeling engagements, including integrated 3-statement models, cash flow models, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Translate: Translate client objectives into structured analytical approaches by defining key drivers, assumptions, and outputs.
• Evaluate: Evaluate business initiatives and financial alternatives, including capital raises, recapitalizations, acquisitions, and organic growth strategies.
• Support: Support transaction-related engagements through the development of pro forma models, analysis of deal structures, and evaluation of stakeholder outcomes.
• Manage: Manage day-to-day engagement execution, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination with internal team members and client stakeholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with a focus on financial advisory, investment banking, transaction services, or corporate FP&A.
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience with advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including the ability to build models from first principles and apply them to real-world business scenarios.
• Skills: Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with PowerPoint, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience supporting transactions, capital structure analysis, or investment evaluation is preferred, and professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA, or an MBA are a plus.
