What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive monthly reporting routines to clearly articulate key expense drivers, emerging trends, and progress towards budgetary goals.
• Prepare Ally Auto business deliverables and meeting materials for weekly, monthly, and quarterly executive updates and reporting.
• Support the Auto leadership team in day-to-day financial analysis and the execution of strategic initiatives.
• Maintain robust reporting and documentation to support the publication of financial results and forecasting routines, including key performance indicators.
• Assist with cost savings initiatives and track performance against stated goals for the business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with an understanding of business operations and objectives.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in financial analysis, specifically reporting on financial forecasts, P&L performance, and operating metrics geared towards executive leadership.
• Skills: Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills, strong critical thinking and analytical abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, highly organized and self-motivated with strong time management.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree, with a degree in Finance or Accounting a plus; experience with forecast modeling using OneStream and Workday Financial applications; interest or experience in Auto Finance operations.
