What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting: Complete the accounting, processing, and reconciliations for various integrated systems for investments and separate accounts, applying appropriate accounting principles.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and financial statements, complete analysis, and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders related to investments and separate accounts.
• Auditing: Provide primary support to internal and external auditors for several key annual controls and financial audits.
• Collaboration: Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with them on special projects, which may include recommending, implementing, and testing enhancements to investment and separate account software.
• Software Support: Assist with support, maintenance, upgrades, and enhancement of the investment accounting and separate account software.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required, with Accounting preferred.
• Experience: 0-2+ years experience; proven ability to work with a high level of independence, exercise sound decision-making, and build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Skills: Exceptional communication and analytical skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines with personal initiative; proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills or willingness to learn.
• Bonus: CPA, or ability to sit for CPA exam, knowledge of or desire to learn investments, separate accounts, and insurance.
