Finance Specialist – Hybrid | McAfee

The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at McAfee, located in Frisco, TX, with onsite requirements typically 1-4 days per month. This position is critical for supporting McAfee’s financial analysis, due diligence, and corporate governance activities related to MISP & Retail deal negotiations. The role offers high visibility projects and direct exposure to senior leadership, allowing you to make a meaningful impact by shaping financial strategy, informing critical business decisions, and ensuring financial discipline across new and existing partnerships.

• Mission: Ensure alignment with McAfee’s GTM strategy across MISP & Retail channels, assist senior management in more informed decision-making, and maintain proper due diligence and corporate governance for new and existing partnerships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Negotiation Support: Support all deal negotiations with Retail partners through comprehensive financial analysis, scenario planning, and the creation of cash flow and P&L financials.
• Compliance and Governance: Maintain proper due diligence and corporate governance standards pertaining to contract compliance and all deal negotiations.
• Internal Process Facilitation: Assist the Sales team through the internal approval process and meticulously review proposed contract language to ensure commercial, legal, and regulatory compliance.
• Executive Communication: Create clean, polished, and succinct presentation materials specifically tailored for Executive audiences, capable of unpacking complex concepts simply.
• Strategic Financial Analysis: Prepare ad-hoc financial models to assist senior management in more informed decision-making, and size strategic growth initiatives while prioritizing them against alternative options.

The Must-Haves
• Background: BA/BS/BBA degree in Finance or Accounting, providing a strong foundation for financial analysis and deal modeling.
• Experience: At least 5+ years of dedicated deal modeling experience, including the ability to accurately prepare cash flow and P&L financials.
• Skills: Ability to read and understand legal contracts for compliance and review; great interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across cross-functional teams; self-motivated with the capacity to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments; proactive problem-solving with a high tolerance for ambiguity and a preference for operating independently; and an understanding of the dynamics within a highly matrixed organization.
• Bonus: MBA a plus; experience supporting Sales teams and deal negotiations.
