QEHS Intern | the LEGO Group

The role supports Quality Assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities within a manufacturing environment. This position is vital for maintaining compliance with quality and EHS requirements, offering the intern practical experience in manufacturing operations and process improvement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• EHS Program Support: Support the implementation and follow-up of EHS programs, procedures, and initiatives.
• Safety Activities: Assist in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities.
• Quality Operations: Support daily quality operations and address quality issues on the production floor.
• Problem Solving: Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities using problem-solving methodologies.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Quality Team by gathering information, collecting data, and assisting with investigations related to complaints.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, certificate, or coursework in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional work environment, preferably in a manufacturing, Quality, or EHS-related role, with exposure to ISO standards, auditing, or safety programs.
• Skills: Excellent analytical and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word; ability to analyze data, prioritize issues, and support decision-making; strong attention to detail; and teamwork.
