TTS US Category Creator Strategy Project Intern (TikTok Shop – Operations) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles. TikTok operates a leading short-form mobile video platform and is significantly expanding its commerce capabilities, aiming to make it the preferred channel for merchants, creators, and affiliates. This role supports the US Operations team in building an innovative e-commerce ecosystem, helping to scale creator-driven shopping trends and bring discovery and joy to the shopping experience. You will gain practical skills and a deeper understanding of career interests through impactful short-term projects.

• Team: TikTok Shop US operation team, focusing on creator strategy within the Personal Care & Lifestyle industry.
• Mission: Optimize creator content strategies to improve content sell-through rates and establish a robust supply foundation for managed merchants.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies for the Personal Care & Lifestyle industry to ensure projects deliver high-quality content.
• Creator Optimization: Continuously optimize creator content strategies, including onboarding and posting, to improve content sell-through rates and build a solid supply foundation.
• Resource Integration: Integrate resources across departments by coordinating with local creator management, platform promotion, and industry teams.
• Project Management & Analysis: Identify and resolve project risks and bottlenecks, drive quick problem resolution, and conduct data analysis to evaluate tactic effectiveness.
• Operational Support: Assist with other daily operational tasks within the department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field.
• Experience: Proven work experience in internet marketing, e-commerce operations, or campaign operations.
• Skills: Data analysis and mining skills with a strong understanding of e-commerce data; effective communication and collaboration skills; ability to independently drive project progress; patient, detail-oriented, and capable of summarizing learnings.
• Bonus: Experience in brand going global, familiarity with European and American e-commerce markets, or internship/full-time experience in an e-commerce marketplace business or retail category management.
