Operations Leadership Development Program 2027 | nVent

The Tone:
This is an 18-month immersive leadership development program for early career professionals at nVent, located with required geographic flexibility for rotations in places like Minneapolis, MN, and Cleveland, OH. nVent is a global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions, designing, manufacturing, marketing, installing, and servicing high-performance products that connect and protect critical equipment worldwide. This program is designed to cultivate future leaders in front-line operations, shaping the company’s progress and sparking innovation across the globe. Participants will build a strong foundation for an impactful career while contributing to a more secure and electrified world.

The TL;DR
• Role: Leadership Development Program
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person – Geographic flexibility required, rotations may include Minneapolis, MN (St. Louis Park or Anoka) and Cleveland, OH
• Pay: $65000 yearly
• Team: Cohort of early career professionals in supply chain functions, supported by a network of peers, managers, and senior leaders.
• Mission: To ignite potential and build the foundation for extraordinary leadership in front-line operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, etc.)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Guide teams and refine your decision-making skills through hands-on, real-world opportunities in front-line operations.
• Develop: Participate in ongoing training to hone functional competencies, gain business insights, and build leadership capabilities.
• Engage: Dive into nVent’s community by participating in social, professional, and service activities organized by a peer-led committee.
• Network: Forge connections with a network of peers, managers, and senior leaders, benefiting from formal and informal mentorship.
• Impact: Make a tangible impact from day one, laying the groundwork for a fulfilling, lifelong career where your leadership will power progress.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management or a related field.
• Experience: Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 and available to begin full-time employment in June 2027. Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future. Geographic flexibility both during and upon completion of the program.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
• Bonus: Previous internship, co-op, or work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, etc.). Proven leadership experience. Industry-related internship experience.
