2027 Sales & Operations Development Program (Starting June 2027) | Rexel USA

The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career development program at Rexel USA, located in Santa Clara, CA. Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, wireless communication, and related supplies in the United States, operating through eight regions and over 460 warehouse storefront locations. This program is designed to provide associates with a fast-tracked opportunity to gain broad exposure within the electrical distribution industry, developing commercial, operational, and leadership skills. Upon completion, participants are prepared for key roles across sales, operations, project management, procurement, marketing, and future leadership within the organization.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Provides participants with broad business experience and an understanding of the electrical distribution industry to prepare them for key roles within the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse & Logistics: Learn the full-cycle supply chain processes behind storing and moving materials, including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping.
• Sales: Gain experience in counter, inside, and outside sales, building customer service, product knowledge, selling, and digital tool skills.
• Operations: Understand the business drivers that influence safety, profitability, facility maintenance, inventory, working capital, and customer service, utilizing available data and tools.
• Project Management: Manage customer, sales, and vendor relationships, track shipments, coordinate billing, and prepare project quotations.
• Elective Rotations: Tailor experience through opportunities such as returning to a previous rotation for deeper experience, specializing in product areas like Automation or Lighting, or developing a customized rotation with local leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. This is an Entry-Level role for candidates.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience in a service, business, or sales-oriented role, with a minimum 3.0 GPA upon graduation for external candidates with a bachelor’s degree. Relevant internship/co-op experience is preferred.
• Skills: Demonstrated professionalism, leadership skills, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills, along with a collaborative and problem-solving mindset.
