Professional Talent Development Ready Mix | Cemex US

The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-month talent development program for recent graduates, involving rotations across Cemex US operations within the U.S. Cemex US is a leader in the building materials industry, known for its innovation, quality, and operational excellence. This program is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of ready-mix operations. Through this, individuals will gain valuable insights and develop essential skills to build a successful career at Cemex USA.

The TL;DR

• Location: Relocation within the U.S. if needed

• Team: Talent Development Program cohort, collaborating across business lines
• Mission: To provide recent graduates with comprehensive operational experience and skill development for future leadership roles within Cemex USA.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Ensure Safety: Participate in safety protocol training and actively ensure safety standards are met or exceeded across all operations as a top priority.
• Engage in Rotational Learning: Immerse in a structured rotational program covering various aspects of Ready-Mix operations, including Safety, Plant Management & Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Quality Control & Project Coordination, Customer Service/Sales, Dispatch, Environmental, and Human Resources.
• Develop Skills: Enhance both technical and transferable soft skills through practical work, dedicated training sessions, and mentorship within the program.
• Build Network: Establish connections and resources across the company by interacting with peers, mentors, and leaders throughout the program.
• Drive Innovation: Contribute to the ongoing success of Ready-Mix operations by bringing forward fresh perspectives and innovative ideas for continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent bachelor’s degree in Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Construction Science Management/Construction Management, Business Admin/Business Management, Mechanical Engineer, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience gained through internships, co-op programs, or university projects is required.
• Skills: Strong analytical and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, and candidates must be willing to relocate within the U.S. if needed for rotational assignments.
