Public Relations Intern | FleishmanHillard
The Tone:
This is a full-time paid internship at FleishmanHillard, located in St. Louis. FleishmanHillard is a global integrated communications agency that delivers transformational outcomes for some of the world’s biggest brands. This role offers real-world experience across the communications spectrum, providing strategic support and developing critical skills foundational to a public relations career. The intern will play an integral role within account teams, contributing to the agency’s goals of impact and inclusion.

• Mission: To provide strategic support and develop critical public relations skills within a global integrated communications firm.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform communication strategies and client projects.
• Content Creation: Develop various written materials, including social content, news releases, and key messaging.
• Campaign Management: Manage social media and paid digital campaigns for clients.
• Media Relations: Build relationships with journalists and identify key influencers and stakeholders for client initiatives.
• Strategic Support: Support crisis planning, vet external engagement opportunities, and track and analyze campaign results and other account-related activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student who has completed their junior year of college, or a recent graduate.
• Experience: Previous relevant internship experience(s) is required.
• Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, strong time management, a desire to learn, ability to work as part of a team, and commitment to cultivating diverse teams.
• Bonus: At least a 3.0 GPA.
