The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles County, focused on operations for TikTok Shop. This role is crucial for scaling the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon and pioneering content and creator commerce in the US. The intern will join an entrepreneurial team passionate about shaping the future of shopping and building an innovative, secure, and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem for users.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Acquire: Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth.
• Innovate: Discover innovative collaborative models that align with merchants’ short-term and long-term development plans, investing platform resources effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate: Solve key challenges in business growth through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Advise: Employ a consultative approach by offering strategic content, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistical solutions to all clients.
• Communicate: Update clients on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities.

• Background: Currently pursuing an MBA Degree. Career level: Student.
• Experience: No specific years required.
• Skills: Quick learner, proactive and resilient, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust fast to change; structured thinking, strong analytical skills, and good data sense; excellent communication and cross-team collaboration, skilled at moving things forward.
• Bonus: Internship or full-time experience in an e-commerce marketplace business or retail category management; familiarity with the TikTok content ecosystem, shoppable content, and brand-creator partnerships.
