• Pay: $18–$21 hourly
• Team: Works within a showroom team, supported by experienced mentors and professionals.
• Mission: Helps customers explore design solutions and supports efficient showroom operations to facilitate design and sales processes.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, Excel, 20/20 Design or CAD (plus)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Assistance: Assist customers, including homeowners, architects, builders, and contractors, in exploring products and design solutions for their projects.
• Showroom Operations: Support daily showroom operations and displays, learning about maintaining sample libraries and industry processes.
• Product Knowledge Development: Gain comprehensive product knowledge of cabinetry, hardware, appliances, countertops, moldings, and millwork from leading manufacturers.
• Sales and Design Process Participation: Participate in design and sales processes, including order entry, CRM documentation, and understanding vendor relationships.
• Relationship Building: Build professional relationships with various stakeholders, fostering a positive customer experience and supporting their growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or entry-level professional interested in design, construction, or building a long-term career with Riverhead Building Supply.
• Experience: Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Skills: Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members; strong organizational skills for managing tasks and showroom materials; computer proficiency; a customer-focused mindset and professional demeanor; and a proactive, dependable approach to problem-solving.
• Bonus: Experience with 20/20 Design or CAD is a plus.
