Logistics Intern (Year-Round) | Valeo

• Mission: Support daily logistics and inventory operations to ensure on-time delivery and optimize stock levels for Valeo’s advanced mobility solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Freight and Inventory: Assist with daily logistics operations, including managing inbound and outbound freight, and support inventory activities like cycle counting and stock optimization.
• Coordinate Shipments: Participate in the coordination of shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to customer requirements.
• Apply Logistics Systems: Learn and utilize logistics software and systems such as ERP and WMS to streamline operations.
• Analyze Performance Data: Contribute to data analysis to identify areas for improving logistics performance and prepare related reports.
• Facilitate Communication: Communicate with internal teams (e.g., production, purchasing) and external partners (e.g., carriers, suppliers) to ensure smooth operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or a recent graduate.
• Experience: A strong interest in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), strong written and verbal communication, and detailed organizational abilities.
• Bonus: Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems is a plus.
