Summer Intern (Ben Towne Center: Evans Lab) | Seattle Children’s

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administer: Provide essential administrative support to an assigned program or project area within the Evans Lab, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Support: Offer crucial database support, including maintaining and updating records to ensure data integrity and accessibility for research and program needs.
• Process: Accurately perform data entry tasks, inputting information into systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare: Utilize word processing software to create, edit, and format various documents and communications as required by the program or project team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A student who is 18 years or older, currently enrolled in high school, college, or university, pursuing an undergraduate degree, or taking courses to fulfill prerequisite requirements for a future degree program.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in data entry and word processing is preferred. Additionally, administrative experience within a research setting is highly valued.
• Skills: Proficiency in data entry, strong word processing abilities, and a working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bonus: Currently pursuing college-level courses at an accredited college or university, indicating a commitment to higher education.
