The Tone
This is an internship at Align AI Solutions, located in Bentonville, Arkansas. Apprenticely places candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor/IT support team. Align AI Solutions helps businesses find and eliminate bottlenecks by designing AI and automation solutions that free teams to focus on high-impact work. This role is crucial as the intern will help build and support these AI-powered applications, workflow automations, and client-facing tools, contributing directly to the company’s mission of delivering ongoing ROI.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Development: Develop AI-powered applications to meet specific business needs.
• Automation: Engineer workflow automation solutions that streamline business processes.
• Tooling: Create client-facing tools for various business functions.
• Support: Provide ongoing support for AI-powered applications and client-facing tools.
• Principles: Apply iterative design principles to product building and enhancements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current Arkansas state resident with technical aptitude demonstrated through projects, experience, or online learning; eligibility to pass a standard background check.
• Experience: Ability to work 40 hours a week for the three-month internship, with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity; able to work full-time in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Skills: High curiosity and interest in learning new technologies and growing an IT career, with the ability to clearly communicate technical knowledge.
• Bonus: Experience or interest in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, frontend/backend development basics, iterative design principles, APIs and integrations; comfort with learning new tools quickly; interest in AI, automation, real-world business workflows, and leveraging the latest AI technologies.
